This policy explains what information SnowballCalc (snowballcalc.com) collects and how it is used. SnowballCalc is a free set of debt payoff calculators and guides. You don't need an account to use it.

Who is responsible for your information

SnowballCalc is responsible for the information described in this policy. You can contact us at hello@snowballcalc.com.

Numbers you enter in the calculators

The calculators run in your browser. The balances, interest rates and payments you type in are not sent to us, and SnowballCalc does not save them.

Cookies and tracking

SnowballCalc does not set cookies, and we don't add advertising or social media tracking scripts to this site.

Hosting

SnowballCalc is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the technical information your browser sends when it loads a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the address of the page requested, so that it can deliver the site. Cloudflare also gives us traffic totals, such as the number of requests from each country, which don't identify you to us. Cloudflare handles this information under its own privacy policy.

Emails you send us

If you email hello@snowballcalc.com, Cloudflare forwards your message to our mailbox, and we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use them only to reply to you. We don't sell them or share them with advertisers.

Paid links

SnowballCalc has no paid links yet. If we add them, they will be labelled (see our advertiser disclosure). If you click one, you leave SnowballCalc, and the company you visit, or the affiliate network that tracks the link, may use cookies or similar technology to record that you came from us. Their own privacy policies apply to what happens on their sites.

Links to other websites

Our guides link to other websites, such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. We aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Children

SnowballCalc is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices and rights

To ask what information we hold about you, or to have your emails deleted, email hello@snowballcalc.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
